Charlee is a long time fan of SciFi, love, adventure, and happily ever afters. She grew up in Florida where a huge fallen oak tree in the swampy woods near her home served as her very own Star Ship Enterprise. Luckily the alligators were almost never a problem on her space ship as the flight deck was several feet above the muddy ground. She did lose a few tennis shoes on away missions, though.
By day she’s a technical writer; in her spare time she pursues a variety of geek endeavors, including blogging. When the moon is full, she writes fiction. She’s a veteran of Dragon*Con, a member of Romance Writers of America©, and has a tendency to take on more projects than any sane woman would. Sanity is over rated, anyway.

She was raised in the US, but has called Japan her home for over a decade. She has written articles on genre literature in translation and manga for Japan based publications. Her current writing pursuits include blogging, reviewing, and writing fiction.

Toni seriously believed that if she sat long enough in her dumpy closet, she would get to Narnia. And so she did. But Narnia was unlike the one described in the books, it was instead a land of eternal battle where The Emperors’ Space Marines waged eternal war on the feeble elves and minotaurs. Toni was awestruck by the magnificence of The Emperor and pledged eternal loyalty to him on the spot…
She then woke up realizing that it was all just a dream induced by too much soda before bed.
In reality, she is eternally surrounded by piles of books crammed into crumbling bookshelves, miscellaneous strands of cat fur and reptilian scales in her clothing. When she’s not ignoring the neck cramp as she’s suckling the sweet carbonated nectar of heaven, she’s elbow deep in the medical matters of the veterinary profession. Or cross-eyed from from figuring out sewing patterns. Or tangled in yarns. Or blankly staring at a computer screen trying to summon words for a story. Or running her book clubs. Or trying to paint her miniature figurines. Or playing WoW. Or obsessed with Doctor Who. Or running around anime or comic conventions.
Doesn’t matter where Toni goes or what she does, you can be sure as heck there’s a book on her.
Misa grew up watching Doctor Who and Star Trek, and reading her older sister’s Harlequin novels. This education left her with a love of starships and happily-ever-afters, so when she started writing NaNoWriMo in 2007, her natural preference was for sci fi romance.
Now published through Decadent Publishing and Champagne Books, Misa’s stories follow her characters through adventure, romance and the wonders of the universe, with the occasional passionate embrace (read that as “very hot sex”). Writing is a much-needed haven from the crazy of raising five children and a Land Rover-obsessed husband in the north of England, where it really does rain as much as people say it does.
Trina – Reviewer
Trina is a huge SciFi fan and grew up loving Star Trek, Star Wars, and Bewitched. When she’s not watching her favorite 3D movie on the big screen, she’s reviewing her favorite PNR/UF books, writing fan fiction, or snapping pictures of her favorite things. Trina likes to travel and always finds a great local ghost tour to get the bejeezus scared out of her. She also likes to spoil her cats, Sir Kenny and Beastie Boy. She’s spent most of her life in the Tampa Bay area where she currently spends many a night dreaming of an Acheron/Wrath sandwich. Atlantean gods and ass kicking vampires are yummy!

Kristal Hollis - Contributor and Reviewer
Kristal is a native Floridian who prefers moonbeams to sunlight, magick over science, and traipsing through enchanted forests in lieu of highways because unicorns and leprechauns are more compelling than concrete and tail lights. A night owl by nature, an early riser by protest, she was forced to surrender her vampire card when the Consortium of Necrophiles exposed her garlic obsession.
Her life experiences include counseling dragons on the dangers of buzzing airport towers, moonlighting as a werewolf whisperer, and wrangling errant faeries. At home, she spars with the goblin who stalks the pantry, dishes out mad love to Monster Puppy and Brave Little Basset, and snuggles with Professor X during American Idol and GRIMM.
Rocky road ice cream and Nickelback are the muses that fuel her soul. Oh, and M&M’s, Doritos and sweet tea. Scones with strawberries and clotted cream. Scottish Highlanders, space captains, knights with dented armor, and things that go bump in the night.
Her hobbies include dripping candle wax on the counter-tops and stalking men in kilts. Champion of the underdog, friend of the forgotten, seer of the invisible, she believes imagination is the elixir of life and recommends slurping often, she does.
Serenity is an avid reader and proud nerd. She blames her mother for her reading habits, and her father for her strange obsession with science and all things weird, paranormal or just plain WTF.
When she is not shooting lasers from the comfort of her XBOX360 or working on reviews for Smart Girls love Sci-Fi, she is watching her latest anime addiction, reading naughty literature and or in deep contemplation—after all, why she continues to re-read books where at least once character ends up naked (or captured) by page thirty is still a mystery.
